Marta Millar | Secretary General
Marta Millar is a senior studying History, International Politics, and German, with minors in French and International Studies, and a first-year grad student in the School of International Affairs. She has been a member of the Penn State International Affairs and Debate Association since her freshman year and staffed several conferences, most recently serving as the Chief of Staff for PUNC X, in addition to Secretary-General. Apart from PSIADA, she is the Vice President for Strategic Planning of UN Campus Advocates, a group working to promote the work and forward the goals of the UN, and is involved with the Presidential Leadership Academy. Marta attended the first PHUNC as a delegate, and now is extremely excited to present this conference to each of you, and to welcome you to her hometown of State College!
Thomas Santee | Chief of Staff
Thomas Santee is a senior studying Aerospace Engineering from Bethlehem, PA. He has been an active member of the Penn State International Affairs and Debate Association since his freshman year, most recently serving as Director of Finances on PUNC X and PHUNC IV, as well as the Vice President of Finances for PSIADA. Outside of the club, he is a member of the Pride of the Lions pep band, a researcher in the Penn State Plasmas group, as well as a midshipman in the university’s NROTC unit. Tom is excited to serve as Chief of Staff for PHUNC V, as PHUNC III was his introduction to Model UN. He hopes that PHUNC V will be enjoyable for all those coming to participate.
Daniel Donaher | USG for Crisis and Committee Development
Daniel Donaher is a senior studying Electrical Engineering who hails from the quiet little town of Landenberg, PA. He has been an active member of PSIADA since his freshman year, and is excited to serve as Undersecretary for Committee and Crisis Development. He looks forward to helping organize crisis simulations that will both challenge delegates intellectually as they strive to solve the complex issues laid out before them, as well as provide the opportunity to make lasting friendships and make PHUNC weekend an enjoyable one. When not fixing circuits or reading up on politics, Daniel’s hobbies include running and enjoying a nice cup of tea.
Anna Lin | Chargée d'Affaires
Anna Lin is excited to welcome you to PHUNC V! She is from Chatham, New Jersey and is junior in the seven year combined medical program at Penn State and Thomas Jefferson Medical School. She has been part of PSIADA since freshman year, serving as a committee member, Chargee d’Affaires for PHUNC IV, and as a Crisis Director for PUNC X. In addition to PSIADA, she is involved in THON, serving as a committee member and as a Family Relations and THON chair for her major’s org, Pi Mu Mu, the past two years. Anna hopes you have an incredible weekend at PHUNC V filled with passion and lots of debate!
Meghan McNicholas | Director of Logistics and Events
Meghan is a sophomore from Radnor, PA majoring in History, International Relations and French with a minor in International Studies. She has been a member of PSIADA since the fall of her freshman year and has staffed both PHUNC and our collegiate conference. Outside of PSIADA, she is involved with THON, is a Relay for Life Captain and is a writer for the blog HerCampus. When she isn’t planning super fun delegate dances, Meghan spends her free time wishing she were traveling, laughing at bad jokes, and eating socially unacceptable amounts of ice cream. She is thrilled to welcome delegates to the best PHUNC yet and cannot wait to see all of the amazing things that the delegates will accomplish!!
Saikumar Kamtam | Director of Conference Design
Sai is a junior from Queens, New York. He is majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Statistics. He has been a member of PSIADA since his freshman year and has served as a staffer in several conferences. Outside of PSIADA, Sai is involved in a coding club and loves hackathons and watching TV shows. He is very excited to work as the Director of Conference Design and make PHUNC V a rewarding experience for everyone.
Mihir Alve | Director of Marketing
Mihir is a sophomore in the Schreyer Honors College studying Computer Science. He has been a member of PSIADA since the beginning of his freshman year and has staffed two conferences serving as a co-chair and crisis director. Outside the club, Mihir is involved in 3D Printing Club and the Association of Computing Machinery. He attended PHUNC in high school and hopes to help PHUNC V be an amazing experience like it was for him!
Katie Bartuska | Director of Technology
Katie is a junior in the Schreyer Honors College studying International Politics and Economics with a minor in History. She has been a member of PSIADA since the spring of her freshman year, and has served as a crisis staffer, co-chair, and the Director of Technology for PUNC X. She is also a member of the Homecoming Parade Committee, in which she helps organize the largest student-run parade in the nation, and serves as the Vice President for Finances of the United Nations Campus Advocates. Katie is passionate about education, travel, and European history. She is excited to serve as the Technology Chair for PSIADA, and is V excited for the delegates to experience PHUNC V!
Erfan Shakibaei | Vice President of Finances
Erfan Shakibaei is a junior studying Finance from Berwyn, PA. He has been a member of the Penn State International Affairs and Debate Association since his freshman year and has had the opportunity to staff several conferences, most recently serving as a Chair for PUNC X and a Co-Chair for PHUNC IV, alongside being the Vice President of Finances for the organization. Apart from PSIADA, Erfan is the Vice President of Communications for the Smeal Student Council, a Professional Development Chair for the Sapphire Leadership Academic Program, and is a participant in Wall Street Boot Camp I and II. Beyond extracurriculars, he likes to stay active, travel, play rugby, and breakdance. Erfan started with Model UN in high school and is now excited to serve as the Vice President of Finances for PHUNC V and to welcome all of the delegates!
